Char-magaz literally means 'Four Brain', indicating a mixture of four seeds that are good for the brain. In this version of the charmagaz, Cucumber seeds, muskmelon seeds, watermelon seeds and pumpkin seeds are soaked in water and ground into a paste. Charmagaz is used in Mughlai cooking to add thickness and depth to gravies. They are also used to make Thandai during Holi. You could also add a pinch to milk for extra nutrition.
